Reiki is a Japanese technique in which I channel energy through my hands to clear blockages to healing. Gentle, non-invasive light-touch hand placements on or above specific points on the body promote relaxation and release muscle tension. The name comes from “Rei” (universal) and “Ki” (life energy). The underlying principle is that balanced energy promotes well-being, and blockages lead to illness.
You remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a treatment table or sit in a chair. No pressure, manipulation, or physical adjustment is involved. Benefits include reduced pain, stress, anxiety, depression, muscle tightness, and insomnia. Reiki aids in strengthening memory and enhances the body’s natural healing abilities.
